V-day is one of the biggest days in a restaurant’s calendar. But as the rebels of the industry, there’s nothing less “Jack’s” than a gushy, hallmark holiday. Not to mention their Gen Z target is more into swiping and side-pieces than SRS relationships.
So we helped Jack’s coin a V-day holiday as unconventional as they are.
Playing off the cultural success of Amy Poehler’s Galentine’s Day – PALENTINE’S DAY (FEB 15th) is officially the day to get your pong game on point, crush some chicken tendies and celebrate pal-tonic love with your best bros.
With over 4M social impressions and two successful bromantic giveaways of gift cards and pong sets, we proved that bros were in need of some tenders, love and care, too. 🍗❤️
COMMERICAL 🤝 CONTENT CREATION
Shot entirely on an iPhone, we gave up traditional ad polish in favour of an organic, influencer-style vid that looks more like Gen Z’s favourite comedians and social creators.
The PALENTINE’S DAY PONG SET
Couples have red roses, pals have red solo cups. A custom Jack’s Beer Pong set was included with every Palentine’s Day dinner purchased on Feb. 15th.
SOCIAL CONTESTING
To get people hyped about the holiday, we launched our videos and ran a $100 gift card giveaway contest on Instagram, TikTok & Facebook a week leading up to the big day.
